Donauinsel

The Donauinsel is a 21.1 km long and up to 250 m wide artificial island between the Danube and the New Danube, which lies a few meters lower in the city area of Vienna and Klosterneuburg. The island is part of the Viennese flood protection system and also serves, together with the Old and New Danube, as a local recreation area in the Viennese Danube area. Every year the Danube Island Festival takes place there.

The Danube Tower was
built in the 60th years and is with 252 meters the highest landmark in Austria.
From up here you have a view over the Danube Park and further over the whole city. At the height of 170 meters is the revolving restaurant, where you can comfortably enjoy the view over Vienna.

DC Tower

DC Tower 1 (short for Donau City Tower) is one of three skyscrapers planned and partially completed by French architect Dominique Perrault in Vienna's Donau City. It was opened in 2014 and has since become the tallest building and second tallest structure in Austria at 220m. In addition to offices, the tower also offers a gym, a hotel as well as bars and a restaurant.
